Caramelized Mango Plăcintă Cake – Top Good Healthy Weight Loss Dessert Recipe


  1. Preheat oven while preparing the cake. Wallpaper tray (40 × 36 cm or 36 × 36 cm) with waxed paper. Clean fruit mango and cut the flesh into thin slices. Arrange slices in pan and tiles.
  2. Mix sugar in a large bowl with the salt, eggs, yogurt and oil with mixer until obtain a cream. In another bowl mix flour, baking powder and coconut then gradually add the cream and mix to incorporate.  Add mango slices and flatten it. Put the tray in hot oven at low heat for about 50 minutes and after 30 minutes baking tray cover with parchment paper or aluminum foil is not too close in color. Let mango cake out of the oven and let cool in pan for 15 minutes. Invert the cake in another tray, remove baking paper and sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar. Heat the oven and grill for 3-4 minutes until sugar melts and caramelizes becoming golden. Serve with whipped cream cake with mango [optional].
